Jenny is a compassionate therapist with 18 years of experience supporting children and families in the child welfare system. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by providing trauma-informed care that honors each person’s unique story. Jenny’s approach focuses on acknowledging and integrating life experiences to foster healing and resilience. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by adverse childhood experiences and helping them heal from trauma.
Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), Jenny brings a well-rounded skill set to her practice. She has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is pursuing EMDRIA certification. EMDR therapy is a highly effective method for processing trauma and distressing life events. In addition, Jenny integrates holistic techniques such as breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness into her sessions, drawing from her personal yoga practice.
Throughout her career, Jenny has focused on stabilizing family systems and strengthening relationships, even in complex and challenging circumstances. Her specialties include managing symptoms of trauma, behavior modification, parent/teen conflict, anxiety, and anger management. She is committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts and emotions.
Jenny recognizes the courage it takes to begin therapy and feels honored to be part of her clients’ healing journeys. Her goal is to empower individuals and families to live happier, healthier lives while achieving their full potential. Jenny holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, where she received a child welfare fellowship with a focus on leadership and supervision. She is an independently Licensed Social Worker with a state supervisor designation (LISW-S), licensed in Ohio by the Ohio Counseling, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (License No. I.2103271-SUPV).
